"A Spanish-inspired resort that has a become a masterpiece and a landmark not just in Mactan Island but in the whole of Cebu as well."
Haha, careful folks! This could be true like 15-years ago. When I first visited this resort more than a decade ago. This resort was just so breath-taking! A really beautiful and romantic place that most Class A weddings, receptions and honeymoons are basically held here among the who's who in Cebu and even within the Visayas. But look what happened now, it has become old, almost shabby and is slowly losing its charm. The only thing that didn't change until this very years are probably the high rates.
But in fairness, even though the resort is old - i think their beach is still appealing. The setting, the view, and their pool are still relaxing. Although you can still enjoy some of their fun activities like swimming, diving or jet skiing but if you think doing some snorkeling? Not advisable anymore.
A Deluxe Ocean View Double Bed occupancy with breakfast costs you between Php3,500.00 to Php5,000.00 a night depending on the Season.
Although, I haven't really checked-in but from the looks of it, I think it's expensive especially that it kinda looked old and is very basic.
They have three Swimming Pools available. One large one and one for the kiddo's.
They have a Cafe, which has an al fresco setup beside the pool and is very relaxing facing the view of the seas across.
The beach for me is still amazing. It has fine white sand and you can build some sand-castles.
Basic. Nothing commendable.
For its price, can't really recommend it. Really difficult to see any value-for-money out of it. The price is too stiff considering the resort is old.
But if you want something new, something really different and want to experience its old charm. The white, fine sand beaches, and the perks of having a little bit of privacy and seclusion (compared to a large resort wherein a lot guests are competing the same amenities), then maybe this could be the place you can try.
And if you're thinking that all the other high-end resorts nearby like The Shangri-La's Mactan Island Resort & Spa, Crimson Resort & Spa, Movenpick Hotel, JPark Island Resort & Waterpark or the Plantation Bay Resort & Spa is way out of your budget, then maybe this could be your resort.
Located at Mactan Island, Cebu, the club resort is prominently situated adjacent Sotogrande Hotel & Resort and La Mirada Hotel. It's actually secluded which I liked a lot. Situated in an exclusive, gated community.
On my personal note, I was wondering why the property only has a few houses even up to now? But I believed all of those lots are sold out already but the owners are just speculating for the property's value. By the way, this development is from Sta. Lucia Realty Corp., one of the country's pioneer land developers. It is one of the country's biggest developer who first put its stake in Cebu's real-estate potential. They were the ones who developed large scale projects here in Cebu like the Alta Vista Golf & Country Club in Pardo, Cebu City and even one of those who pioneered setting-up high-rise condominium buildings like The Sentinels at M.J. Cuenco Ave., Cebu City.
Right beside the property is a small wharf that will take people across the small island of Olango, famous for its bird and fish sanctuar.

Decades ago, this place is really remote and secluded but thanks to the booming economy, a lot of development are just within the corner. Nearby are new hotels and commercial establishments. One notable place is the Mactan Newtown wherein condominiums, hotels, office buildings, and fast food establishments like Mc Donalds are located. One notable dining place to visit is Al Fresco, a must visit dine-in place where you have plenty of foods to choose from...from fresh seafoods to Cebu's tasty lechon, just to name a few.
You can take Taxi's from the airport or arrange transfer from the resort. Tricycles are also available (for the adventurous) coming and going towards the main road - ML Quezon Ave., although am not sure if it can bring you straight towards the clubhouse (it probably just drops you off at the gate entrance).
